- New Orleans, Louisiana ECIO partnered with the Clinton Library, City Year, and the cities of North Little Rock, Little Rock, and Jacksonville in bringing together all of the children who have come to Arkansas as a result of displacement after Katrina. Toys and gifts were given away to all.With the help of Plus Time New Hampshire (PTNH) after school programs, the Corporation for National and Community Service, Ouachita Baptist and Henderson State Universities, and friends and family across the United States, ECIO collected an 18-wheeler and an U-haul truck full of school supplies. In April 2006, representatives from PTNH, both universities and ECIO delivered the needed supplies to Woodmere and Nelson Elementary and McDonogh#35 High Schools in New Orleans.
- Pine Ridge, South Dakota Through partnerships with St. Pauls School in Concord, NH, and Jackson County Schools in Tuckerman, Arkansas clothing, toys, and books have been sent to an Indian Reservation that had no school library. ECIO also formed a partnership with the Wilbur Mills Treatment Center in Searcy, Arkansas. They contributed money needed for Christmas gifts for the children of Pine Ridge, South Dakota. Plans are being established for a partnership where the Mills Center can become the first drug treatment center on reservation territory. Several will come from Pine Ridge to work with professionals at the Mills Center to plan a program that will meet the Oglala Lakota needs.
- Arkansas Delta ECIO partnered with Plus Time New Hampshire to have full time AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America) members working on Katrina Relief efforts in the Delta Area.
- Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) ECIO is partnering with FCCLA becoming their state project for Arkansas 2006. There are 14,000 members in Arkansas alone. ECIO members will be speaking at FCCLA District Meetings in February. 2006.
- Newport, Arkansas Along with Gear Up and Newport High School, ECIO sponsored a visit by Prince Cedza Dlamini, grandson of Nelson Mandela. More recently, Newport High School has been instrumental in helping to update the ECIO website.
- Beebe, Arkansas This community was devastated by a tornado in 1999. The school children in Nashua, NH gathered over 5,000 books and sent them to their counterparts in Beebe. Later the Boston Celtics were visited by children from Beebe and held an on-court reception for them.
- Birdsong, Arkansas - Every Child Is Ours Foundation delivered a truckload of turkeys, hams, and groceries for holiday dinners in Birdsong, Arkansas. Birdsong is a small, very poor community who has welcomed many refugees from New Orleans. In follow-up trips ECIO brought toys and stuffed animals to Birdsong.
- Holly Grove, Arkansas ECIO delivered clothes and set up a clothing closet where community members can come and take clothing they need for their family members. With the Arkansas Food Bank, ECIO started a weekend back-back program that sends 40 students home with ample food for Saturday and Sunday.
- Turrell, Arkansas City Year Little Rock and ECIO delivered Christmas presents to Turrell Elementary students in December 2005. In April 0f 2006, Turrell Students communicated with students in South Africa via telephone. Turrell sent a scrapbook of their school along with the ECIO guests to South Africa.
- Exeter High School, Exeter, NH Received over 6,000 pounds of school supplies, toys and stuffed animals for needy children in Arkansas. Many were presented at the Katrina Christmas party at the Clinton Library.
- Central High School in Manchester, NH Sent generous contribution to ECIO Foundation. This school has adopted ECIO as their central community service project.
- Edgartown Elementary School, Marthas Vineyard, Massachusetts Donated books for a full reading series to Turrell Elementary School in Turrell, Arkansas making this a first for this community. In a subsequent visit, Turrell received other school supplies and backpacks. Toys and stuffed animals were also donated and distributed to every child during the Christmas Holidays.
